Things have been going very well at the Community Drop-in.  We served 1653 meals to our guests from June through December 2024.  Everyone has access to personal care items, weather-appropriate clothing, introduction to multiple resources, etc.  Our goal is to continue offering a secure environment where guests can rest, recharge, and access vital services, The Community drop-in plays a crucial role in helping individuals gain knowledge of resources that can help them regain stability. Studies consistently show that when people have access to a safe and supportive space, with consistent healthcare, resources, and encouragement, they are better positioned to overcome the chaos that comes with life's daily struggles. This stability fosters both physical and mental well-being, allowing individuals to pursue new opportunities, improve their outlook on life, and rebuild their independence.

 

We would also like to thank our volunteers who give so generously of their time.  We could not do this work without their help!
